TRIBAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
The Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians is a federally-recognized sovereign nation with a reservation in Coachella, California and in Twenty-nine Palms, California.
The Tribe has traditionally relied on gaming which served as an impetus to economic growth in the late 90’s and early 2000’s for its Tribal Government and enterprises. As a result, the Tribe employs over 700 people and is a generous supporter of cultural, social and economic projects in surrounding communities.
Economic diversification and growth are a priority to the Twenty-nine Palms of Mission Indians as it looks to expand its financial horizons. The Tribe strives to ensure a solid economic foundation for future generations by investing diverse and strategic business ventures within its reservation boundaries and the neighboring regions.
The Tribe’s Economic Development Department is an entry point for business proposals to the Tribe through research and due diligence.
